The Joint Japan/ World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP),
is in its 21st year. The Program awards scholarships to individuals
from World Bank member countries to undertake graduate studies at
universities renowned for their development research and teaching. In
its Regular Program, the JJ/WBGSP has awarded scholarships to 2,707
scholars chosen from a total of 54,119 applicants.

Irequested sponsership for master degree in public Health for 2009.
Am a Tanzanian a Nurse by profession with advanced diploma in Health education and health promotion.

Since the world is financial problems, it is not easy for an individual to fund his or her education. Hence the need to help needy people like me financially.

My second comment is that I would like to pursue a Masters Degree in Appliewd GIS from Kingston University, UK. I need almost twenty thousand British pounds for both the tuition allowances and travel expenses. I hope I can easly be assisted by you.

JJ/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program is Good one especially for students from Developing countries. I applied for consideration for 2009/10 but was not chosen but i will try again the coming year.I wish the number of scholarships could be increased to help so many young people in developing countries who cannot afford good education to be considered. Thanks to everyone involved in this programme. May God bless you all.
