USA: MS Research Assistantship in Bat’s Habitat, Emporia State University

Job Description:
Motivated graduate student (MS) sought to study habitat use by bats in the Red Hills region of Kansas and Oklahoma, beginning in May 2009. Focal species are Townsend’s big-eared bat and the pallid bat, which are listed as Species in Need of Conservation in Kansas. The study will provide material for a thesis and resulting publications. The student will also co-author recovery plans for the aforementioned species for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
